◇TBE has a high buffering capacity, enabling it to maintain stable pH conditions over extended electrophoresis times or at higher voltages. The TBE buffer system is well suited for separating short DNA fragments and DNA fragments of similar sizes, and is widely used in PAGE and high-resolution nucleic acid electrophoresis. It is a commonly employed buffer in DNA polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and can be used in both native PAGE and certain denaturing PAGE applications. ◇This product is a 10× concentrated stock solution; for experimental use, simply dilute it 1:10 to obtain a 1× TBE working solution.

Use 6 µl per lane. For easier visualization after electrophoresis, the 500 bp and 1 kb bands are the brightest; use approximately 100 ng per lane, while the other bands should be loaded at about 50 ng each.
