  • Sample input volume: Generally for 200µl samples. See Appendix for more sample types and input volumes.
  • Sample type : Saliva, swabs, and eukaryotic host body fluids containing intact bacterial cells can all be used for extraction with this kit. For whole blood or solid samples, pretreatment is required. If the sample has undergone repeated freeze-thaw cycles, it may affect the integrity of the bacterial cells, leading to bacterial DNA loss, and is not suitable for samples stored in sample preservation solution.
  • Genome DNA Quality : The recovered genome DNA can be used for various downstream experiments, including PCR and next-generation sequencing.
  • Genome DNA Recovery : More than 85% bacterial genomes can be recovered DNA and more than 90% eukaryotic hosts are removed DNA 。
  • Operating temperature: Room temperature (15-30°C) 。
  • Equipment: Benchtop centrifuge, vortex mixer, high-frequency crusher (recommended)
